this book is the start of a grand adventure following multiple perspectives and with multiple sub plots that tie together

to read/ listen to the first book in isolation (this one)
it's a good book but only scratching the surface of the story it's well written as characters are treated as people with trauma and depth even when that depth isn't readily apparent at first glance

it was a good mix of slice of life (for a dungeon) and adventure with some traditional challenge for the dungeon style books

it's a good book in so far as I like the idea but the story doesn't seem to have much in the way of in depth characters outside of the MC and the depth of the MC is largely on trickled by as the story progresses. for this style of book to fit my "cup" would need a bit more humor


all and all it's a good idea for a book and a good book just not my cup of tea

there were issues with it from the sheriff walking back to his squad car and driving away only to still be with the mc outside the smithy... in a medieval fantasy.... as well as other details that we're off or obvious solutions that got ignored. but it was a good story just needed another round of editing

it was a good book for a one off it had some downsides but overall it was a enjoyable book with good narration

honestly if not for the first three books I wouldn't have gotten this one new narrator mid series is always rough
and the story was just sorta meh at this point the first three in this series where great but this one... good enough to finish, but killed the series for me.

I normally dislike harem books but this series isn't bad the sheer amount of sex (thankfully it doesn't get descriptive) in this one is annoying but if you ignore that the story is good and the narration is great

a amazing book. loving the format of keeping the characters together rather unlike the first book they have all been good books my only complaint in the entire series was that the first book jumped around a lot this one still follows multiple characters but keeps each character together with the exception of one section but it makes since in the context of what the section is about
