Great Storytelling

You really want to find out more about the characters at the end, which says a lot about any story told. Most time when I say that, I mean the story was not built well and leaves you questioning motivations and actions of characters, but in this case, you really get to understand the characters and like or hate them and want more of them. it's a great Jack Ryan novel, if you are a fan of this universe, you will like this story too.

It was a great retelling of my favorite epic. I enjoyed the notes at the end, it was nice to have the academic analysis at the end of the story...which is a story I have always watched in my head. Also, the narrator has a fantastic voice for telling this story.

Lou Diamond Phillips voice is absolutely perfect for the Ryanverse. This is now my second or third book with him as the narrirator, he really adds to the brilliant works of Clancy and Greaney. This book really had me on edge with all the built up suspense.

I started off binge watching GOT and just now got into this audio book. The narrator does a great job, but I almost wish there was a second voice to play other characters with, perhaps a female.
ihave never liked the phrase "the book is so much better than blah blah blah..." but it is really well written and well executed.
