Historia
Just a year ago, Katrina Berg was at the pinnacle of her career. She was a rising star in the AI chatbot start-up everyone was talking about, married with an adoring husband, and had more money than she knew how to spend. Then her world combusted. Her husband, Jason, was killed in a fiery car crash. Her CEO was indicted and, as the company’s legal counsel, Katrina faces tough questions as the Feds take over and lock her out of her office. The final blow is the passing of her beloved grandmother.

Not just a fan I am a friend.

I loved all the twists and turns in this story. The romance, heartwarming. It was sweet but meaningful. I think that kind of romance could happen in real life. I was surprised by the ending until the killing was explained. It made sense why they allowed Katrina to keep using the bot after her Jason was killed. I was puzzled at who had opportunity to have done the deed. I loved the book from start to finish. I believe Colleen Coble and Rick Acker make a great team. Happy Writing

Historia
After a difficult childhood, Samantha Williams craves simplicity: jigsaw puzzles, lectures at the library, and the students she adores in her role as an elementary school art teacher in the dusty farming community of LaCrosse, Washington. But when an SUV crashes into the building where she teaches, her entire world is upended. Samantha manages to keep the children safe, but her car isn’t so lucky. Oddly, her purse—with her driver’s license, credit cards, and other identification—is missing from the wreckage.

Family History nightmare!

I liked Carrie’s sense of humor.
I loved that the main character didn’t know who she was. She had to piece it all together. I could follow the story line very well. I loved it. The book kept me on the edge of my seat with all the twists and turns. Mary was awesome but awful. I didn’t guess it was her at all. Great book.
I appreciate the first responders angle. I would and will recommend this book to others.
