If you are interested in learning about HP Lovecraft or Alistair Crowley, this book will definitely interest you. This is two short Bios that are tied together by a supernatural figure.
I did not find it scary, only unusual. Definitely stands out from the pack.

The narrator, Rick Gregory, did a great job as usual.

Trouble in mind was a quick listen. It does not reinvent the wheel nor was it trying to. It featured a lot of cliches and tropes of the PI genre. Some of the plot felt too convenient and the characters were pretty cardboard. There was a lot of the main character making cheesy statements with a “wink, wink” to the audience, which could have been cool ala Ferris Beuller’s Day Off, but here, it does not work.

If you like PI stories and need a quick listen, you could do worse.

The narration was okay. May have been better with some better material.

Sick Robot was a fun collection of stories that all connect to build a world that is both terrifying and exciting at the same time. The revolution will be televised and Humans may not be on the winning side. Interesting take on how the robots achieve a form of life and the idea that they are tired of being slapped around and treated as slaves is metaphorically great. This is rich ground here for potential sequels and / or a series. I would love to see the further adventures of John and Capri. Great listen.

The narration was excellent. The accents were done very well and the characters (robots becoming human) slowly came to life, literally.
