Historia
When the cultivators came to Earth, they destroyed our entire civilization in a matter of hours. Armies fell, cities burned, and that was before the moon turned red and filled our world with monsters. Now, over a decade later, what's left of humanity slaves under the heels of our Qi-infused masters. The luckiest of us might even become one of them, they say—if we serve the Dynasty well enough and harness the power of Qi. But I want none of that. I'm sick of serving, and I want nothing to do with their world. Instead, I want them to pay for what they did to mine.

everything was great, except Wayne's females voices, o got used to them but yea, they are rough lol otherwise he is a great narrator, the story was well done despite being face paced, and then fell together well

Historia
When Russ Wesley finds an unusual artifact in his grandfather’s collection of rare antiquities, the last thing he expects is for it to draw the attention of a ferocious alien from a distant planet. Equally surprising is the adventurous team of intergalactic exterminators dispatched to deal with the alien threat. They’re a little wild, and a little reckless. Worse yet, they’re so impressed with Russ’s marksmanship that they insist he join their squad . . . whether he wants to or not.

always love Brick. One of the best narrators ever.
overall the story was decent, felt like a bit too much happening overall and the ending left an opening for a sequel but seems that may have never happened. but loved the universe and the characters.

Historia
The only favor the aliens do for Clint Beecham when they abduct him is give him a shirt that says "Do Not Eat" on it in their language. He’s told that as a physicist, he is to be reserved, along with five other scientists, for a mysterious purpose. But 50,000 other humans on board the interstellar scout ship are scheduled to be butchered and frozen, a food supply for the long journey to the alien homeworld. Clint and the other Reserves can’t stand by and let that happen.

A lot of good, a lot of bland.
Revisado: 02-23-25
I enjoyed the vast majority of the vook but it definitely had a LOT of slow boring parts that I would just zone out of and never felt like I had missed anything. I enjoy LitRPGs but I'm definitely not onenof the numbers people, I appreciate having an understanding of the relative power between stats but dont need or want stats constantly. over all fun book though, Jeff is always great

Continues to be good
Revisado: 02-12-25
some reviews seem to be complaining that the MC isn't more heroic, trusting and helpful to his fellows, but it feels like they have missed the entire point of the character and the setting. he is a normal guy, he wasn't even a super depressed, unfulfilled guy in our world, maybe not happy or having a blast but just normal. The trust aspect is pretty obvious, he is a conscripted soldier, with other actual criminals as comrades, in a nation that is tyrannical and has information that if his secrets got out he would most certainly be killed as fuel for the Emperor. All that makes me wonder why anyone is surprised or annoyed by his actions, he is just doing his best to survive and grow strong enough to get away. I really appreciate the character and settings. and the narration is good

Wind and Therapy
Revisado: 12-18-24
overall I still lived it but the first half is a bit heavy in modern psychology and identity politics, heavy for Sanderson at least. my main issue is the contemporary language used for it that feels out of place on Roshar. that and a LOT of time is spent on it.
Adolin is the MVP of this one though loved every moment with him. "SIR!" I look forward to the next one

Revisado: 10-24-24
I've very much enjoyed this series, Wu Ying has been a protagonist i really like, he isn't complicated or amazingly interesting but his origin as a farmer shines throughout and I've really enjoyed it. the ending of this book was slightly melancholy and I hope we get to see him again. Travis Baldree is one of the best and I always enjoy his narration

Slightly unfocused
Revisado: 09-25-24
overall a decent book, too much seemingly pulled directly from Cradle and Beware of Chicken. Began interesting but felt like the author got too interested in a different story and then tried to mesh them together without having a super great result. The characters are decent but lack some depth and personality, again, started out strong then started to veer off into the MC and others becoming distracted by other things than their main motivation. I won't be continuing the series but I wouldn't say to not check it out, it might be your thing, I personally was incredibly bored by the end and all the emotional payoff on the final scenes didn't engage me at all.
