Fantastic adaptation, and superb presentation

I've tried to listen to this a few times through my phone speaker, but it was hard to hear parts while others were loud. Then I wore headphones and they made a WORLD of difference! It immediately transported me into the story, and made me feel there. I binged in a weekend! Worth your time from start to finish, just make sure to wear headphones.

Well researched and performed

This is hands down my favorite podcast for a few years now. With a new theme each month the stories don't get boring, as things get shaken up. The performances are top notch and she handles heavy topics with care. I really enjoy how she focuses on the full life story of the victims, and brings in the story of the killers life. Her skill at weaving stories is gripping, and her vice is soothing enough that you can fall asleep to it.

Used to enjoy but...

There are many problems with this podcast, from over promoting expensive merch (ok stuff but not worth the cost, bought some before I quit listening), irreverent tone, to the worst straight up stealing other people's shows almost word for word. If you want a good podcast, look up the ones they took their episodes from. I recommend Once Upon a Crime.
