A little predictable.

I did really like the book. I loved the historical references. and how the author tied the story into the behavioral norms for the time period the story covered. The characters were well crafted. They did become a little predictable, but were great people, and their story was well told.

I've liked her other books. I've read 5 others. I found it hard to like Ava
She was too insecure and whiny. I would have dumped her immediately! I had a very hard time finishing this book.

Great story, Confusing chapter intro

great story concept. I didn't like the way that each chapter begin with the dates and locations in which it took place. The main problem was that the same chapter would include three or four locations and a similar date , but didn't have clear differentiation between when you were switching from one place to another within the chapter.
