Regency Gossip Girl
Revisado: 11-30-22
I don't know how better to explain this than a Regency Gossip Girl masquerading as a mystery. I have to give the author props for providing g voice to each character in a way that made them distinct, but overall, the plot felt tired to me.

important and relevant
Revisado: 09-23-22
the way this book addresses bullying is so imperative. the victim and the built are so often the same. two sides of the coin, racing to the behavior of others around them. this book takes you on a journey of how the eye for an eye concept can take things from bad to worse

Love it!
Revisado: 08-07-22
Sarah Dessen is a genius with teenage emotion. She has a beautiful gift for really tackling and capturing the nuances of perception in her novels that makes them so compelling. Annabell's friendships, her relationship to her sisters, to her mother, are all a product of her perception of events and emotions. arguably the only thing that's not, is what happened to her at a party. Annabell is really challenged in this book to learn the difference between perception and truth, and to really commit to vocalizing those truths when she feels them. Owen, ever honest, is an incredible pair for her, helping her find her own inner peace and strength

Really a good one.
Revisado: 01-08-22
This was incredible both in story and in storytelling. the Narrator perfectly captures Addie in every emotion. and there are so many. as for the story itself, my heart lept and ached. i cried and I laughed. i very much appreciated the LGBTQIA representationthat was adressed with such ease and normalcy.
absolutely reccomend
