The Dark One has finally accepted me...just in time for everything to change. Because Vane’s brother, the Crocodile, has just arrived on Neverland soil, and he’s not alone. He’s brought with him members of the royal Darkland family, and they want Vane’s Death Shadow back at any cost. Of course, Peter Pan, Vane, Kas, and Bash, they’re all familiar with war. But war isn’t easy when love is on the line.

Action packed the story kept moving
Revisado: 03-08-24
I enjoyed this third installment though I was hoping it would be the end of a trilogy but I feel there were many story lines left open so I’ll move on to book 4. I enjoyed some of the narration, but there were times when I struggled with the narrator choices. It’s a fun read. More action than spice but the spice you get is good.

Historia
Since the Final War, I’ve been doing just fine. I have a lovely cave, a darling vegetable patch, forest views . . . and if loneliness sometimes squeezes my aching heart, well, my books have always kept me company. That is, until a pack of hunters chase me from my home and right into the arms of several rather large, rather brutish ex-Army Rangers. And those brutes have the nerve to make me the rudest offer I’ve ever heard. Their protection—for my body.

Fun & entertaining post-apocalyptic romance
Revisado: 01-20-24
This was such a fun and entertaining audiobook. Which is sort of an odd way to describe this post apocolyptic why choose romance. The narration was fantastic and the characters were all clearly defined. I struggled a little with some of Joe Arden's narration, the accent and the performance went a bit over the top for my taste, but it didn't take away from the story. This does end on a cliffhanger, and I hope to be able to dive into book 2 soon.

Historia
Inside the walls, I was a respected scientist. Out here, I'm vulnerable, desperate, and soon to be at the mercy of the beasts and barbarians who rule these harsh lands. But that is not the worst of it. When the suppressants that keep my shameful secret wear off, overwhelming, unimaginable need will take hold of me completely. I'm about to go into heat, and I know what comes next.... But I'm not the only one with instincts far beyond my control. Savage men roam this wilderness, driven by their very nature to claim a female like me more fiercely than I can imagine.

This book was not for me
Revisado: 01-13-24
I’m a huge Omegaverse fan, but this book was not for me. I found the story idea interesting but the execution fell flat for me. There was a complete lack of consent from Raven in all aspects of her relationship and what happens to her, I can enjoy a non con or dub con book, but this did not do it for me. The narration from Sarah Puckett was consistent and I enjoyed it. The male narrator, narrating 3 different character POVs while each had a distinctive voice, one came off extremely angry and the other two were choppy and the dialogue and monologue sounded awkward and uncomfortable. Overall I don’t think this was the book for me.

He was my boyfriend’s best friend—and the bane of my existence. I wanted to hate Luke Taylor. I did hate him. I just never hated him enough. Now, a decade later, tragedy has brought us back to the place where it all happened—my best times and my worst. Our lives have changed, but that pull between us is just as strong as ever. Only this time, it’s more dangerous too.

This book was not for me
Revisado: 12-30-23
The only thing I enjoyed about this story was the narration. Samantha Brentmoor and Teddy Hamilton do a great job! That said this story was definitely not for me. I found the FMC to be a complete doormat, she was whiny and a victim the whole book. She never grew a backbone or found her voice and it drove me nuts. I didn’t really like any of the characters in the book and felt like the story romanticized abusive religious practices. As romances go I wasn’t even rooting for the happy ending because I just didn’t care about the MMC and FMC. This book was selected by my book club and I’m very much looking forward to the discussion because I’m curious to see how others felt.

Historia
London Ambrose is a spoiled billionaire’s daughter. And now she’s the new co-owner of the Seattle football team, but that doesn’t mean that she knows diddly squat about football. There’s nothing I hate more than having someone micromanaging me, shadowing my every move, and giving me their two cents on every little thing, as I coach my defensive line. I don’t care about new team jerseys and branding or answering her million and one questions about how I do my job. But I can’t help but come to her defense when an old flame shows up and starts harassing her.

My heart was so full listening to this romance!
Revisado: 11-25-23
My heart is so full after reading about the love of Drew and London. I loved these two way more than I anticipated, and the story was not what I expected. London owns the football team that Drew works for as a coach. At the beginning of the book there is a slightly enemies to lovers vibe, but that quickly turns and I so very much enjoyed their relationship and Drew's interaction with London's son (yes she's a single mom). This story was relatively low angst but the story had enough action and drama to keep me engaged. Their love brought me to tears and I enjoyed getting to see the whole Montgomery clan. I was so sad when it ended I just want to be a part of the family and spend time with them always.
Plus we get a little teaser for the next single in Seattle series, and a new series set in Montana.
The Stand-in in audio is absolute perfection! Erin Mallon and Robert Hatchet bring London and Drew to life, as well as the rest of the Seattle/Montgomery crew. listening to the audiobook connected me to the characters in a whole new way, I loved the care and emotion they brought to their performances.
I highly recommend everyone read The Stand-In so they can fall in love with Drew and London like I did.

Torn apart by tragedy, Lorelei has kept Xander at arm’s length, focusing on her career and gifts rather than rekindling their love. But now that she’s back in Salem, she can’t avoid him and finds herself slowly softening toward the man she’s loved all of her life. However, the witch hunter they’ve been fighting still hasn’t been vanquished. Between that and breaking the curse of the Blood Moon, now is not the best time for her to give the sexy Xander another try.

Amazing Conclusion to the Series
Revisado: 10-07-23
An Amazing Conclusion to this series! This book was almost hard for me to read, because I didn't want it to end. I love Xander and Lorelei so much and have been pining for their story since Hallows End (book 1). The tension between of these two has been smoldering! Kristen Proby is so good at introducing characters you know are fated or meant to be and teasing the reader across books focused on other characters until you are panting and begging for their book, and that is exactly what she did with Salems Song. This book was emotional, and tense, romantic and spicy. The mystery and paranormal storyline was a little spooky and angsty. I loved getting more history of Xander and Lorelei's past and seeing them reconnect. My only complaint about this story is that it's over.
Narrated by Sebastian York and Samantha Brentmoor. Honestly, that's all I need to say. Can you go wrong with these two narrators? (that was a rhetorical question because no, you can not). Samantha gives off great witchy vibes and Sebyo is brings it as a broody love sick MMC.

Beautifully Narrated Second Chance Romance
Revisado: 10-01-23
I remember reading about Josie when she was just a little girl in Caleb and Brynna's story and now she is all grown up with her own love story. This second chance romance between Brax and Josie was sweet and passionate. These two are clearly destined for each other, but they still need to find their way. This novella gave me all the feels without feeling rushed, and the epilogue from Caleb's perspective gave me the urge to pick up Safe With Me.
I completely fell head over heels for these two! This novella was the perfect way to give Josie her HEA.
Update 9/20/2023: I listened to the audiobook narrated by the queen herself Andi Arndt and Robert Hatchet. This is my first audiobook narrated by Robert Hatchet and I absolutely loved his narration! His voice was so enjoyable to listen too, I can't wait to listen to more of his books.

Historia
I’m a sucker for pretty things. Give me a roaring engine in a souped-up vintage muscle car with cherry red paint and brand-new leather interior, and that’s about as pretty as anything I could ask for. I’m a simple man who doesn’t need or want the kind of wild celebrity that my father has. I restore one-of-a-kind vehicles and sell them to the highest bidder. Usually, that bidder just also happens to be a celebrity. But no matter how often my cars steal the spotlight, staying out of it is my number one priority. Which is why Sydney Sterling is absolutely out of the question.

The Setup is a whole experience!
Revisado: 07-29-23
Keaton and Sidney are amazing together and on the page. I love Sidney's independence, determination and drive, she knows what she wants and goes after it. There is no shame or embarrassment, she owns her desires and draws out the best in Keaton. Keaton is completely swoon worthy. He has learned the best way to treat a woman from his dad Luke Williams, but has some major hang ups around fame. With Sidney being a famous country singer, this is a hurdle Keaton will need to tackle if he wants more than a friends with benefits arrangement with Sidney.
This book made me insanely happy to read! There is something about the Montgomery/Williams clan that just makes me feel good. From the first page I loved being back in Seattle and enjoyed every moment of this story.
7/28 I absolutely loved and devoured the ebook and the audiobook made this story even better. The audiobook of The Setup was an experience! From the fantastic narration by Emma Wilder and Joe Arden to the original music tastefully included. Emma Wilder did an exceptional Joe Arden voice in her chapters and Joe Arden brought it for sure. After reading the ebook i didn't think I could love this book more and then I was proven wrong.
