Historia
In 1980, a freshman congressman was gunned down in Rhode Island, sending shockwaves through Washington that are still reverberating over four decades later. Now, with the world on the brink of war and a weakened United States facing rampant inflation, political division, and shocking assassinations, a secret cabal of global elites is ready to assume control. And with the world’s most dangerous man locked in solitary confinement, the conspirators believe the final obstacle to complete domination has been eliminated. They’re wrong.

Fantastic story without the mushy stuff
Revisado: 06-06-23
I love Jack cars books, this most recent one had a fantastic storyline. Just wish that there would be less of an emphasis on his love, life, and more on his vigilante escapades. I’m hoping against all hope that perhaps his next one will do away with his current lover, and just focus on his life of vengeance.

After witnessing the murder-suicide of his parents as a child, Noah suffers from a form of PTSD that has left him without emotion, without a conscience, and without the ability to function as a normal human being. Noah finds structure in the US Army and becomes an exemplary soldier, but when his self-imposed programming is put to the test by the murderous acts of his superior officer, Noah finds himself quickly made expendable. Now, an ultrasecret organization known as E & E wants Noah's talents, offering him a chance to survive - as the most deadly assassin the world has ever known.

Seems elementary
Revisado: 01-29-23
I gave the author a two star review on here because the story concept is actually interesting. The dialogue between characters and the author’s descriptions of circumstances, scenarios, or subject matter with supposed clandestine operatives seems like the perspective of a Star Trek fan who has been locked in the basement, playing war, video games, and reading fantasy novels rather than the subject being well researched. I like the idea of the book, but I had to stop reading before the second book even started, it was just too poorly worded.

Historia
King and Slater are independent operators, outlawed from their government for good, free to deliver vigilante justice. Las Vegas, with its murky history and seedy underworld, serves as the perfect hunting ground. Below the hedonism, away from the bright lights and alluring fantasy, there’s an entrenched web of corruption. They offer their services to a woman about to serve a decade in prison for a crime she didn’t commit, and what begins with the infiltration of an unlicensed club in Chinatown unravels into an all-out war against retired cops and bent judges.

Would be better without the females.
Revisado: 06-19-22
I enjoy the operators and the storyline however feel it would be better without the females. I understand the one being brought in as a handler and introducing lovers is one thing but trying to bring in a completely untrained female and suddenly having her performing as an operator it leaves much to be desired. I just feel like these books would be much better off without the female part.

Hunting the leftover scum from a corrupt judge’s human trafficking operation, King and Slater dig up the name of a bank used to wash all the dirty money leaving Vegas in duffel bags. Operator series gone romance novel.
Revisado: 06-19-22
I enjoy the stories, however, Rogers earlier books, prior to so much emphasis on Violetta and Alexis were far better. I wish somebody would write a good operater series that didn’t turn into a romance novel. It’s starting to feel more like a soap opera with some violence mixed in.
