I have always loved this book and as a practicing psychotherapist, I have several copies that I lend out to my clients to read. I have also loved listening to Susan Guttridge's guided meditation on insight timer. This audible book is like the best of both worlds. Listening to Calm in the Storm on Audible has been an incredibly soothing and enlightening experience. Ms. Guttridge's compassionate tone and practical strategies shine through, offering listeners a lifeline in moments of anxiety. The audiobook is thoughtfully structured, making the techniques easy to follow and apply in everyday life.

What I particularly loved was how relatable and approachable Susan's guidance is. Her explanations are clear, and the exercises are so effective that you can start practicing them immediately. Whether you're new to managing anxiety or looking for fresh tools, this book feels like having a trusted psychotherapist/counsellor right there with you.

The narration adds an extra layer of calm, making it easy to engage with the material even during stressful times. I highly recommend Calm in the Storm as the book and now even more so as the audio version to anyone seeking practical and compassionate strategies for navigating anxiety.
