Great short stories from a wonderful series!
Revisado: 06-25-24
A wonderful collection of short stories from the world of the great coats series. These stories were great for me, I listened to them in short bursts over the weekend and they did a wonderful job of sucking me in right away! Well worth the couple of bucks I payed for it!

Too much real world politics adding nothing.
Revisado: 10-27-23
I loved the first book in the series, and a lot of this book is good. However, the author devoted hours to real world events which had nothing to do with the story, and had no impact other than out of the blue comments and conversations which always seemed forced, going so far as to create a freeze time event for a “magical chat room” to discuss such topics before going straight back into the story.
I don’t typically mind political conversations, and can even enjoy them at times when they are well thought out, however I read fantasy as an escape from this and having them forced in like this brakes any immersion you have.
It’s really unfortunate, because without the random breaks in story, these books would have been a nice read.
