Every chapter draws you in further. This book was no exception. I can't wait to start listening to the next book in the series via Audiobook. The bonus chapter at the end was perfect! I was so excited to hear from Kai's perspective.

Why is this NOT a movie yet!?

Amazing plot, definitely a slow burn series since it took two books for the main character to get laid haha (the wait is definitely worth it). But the world and characters the Author creates is truly one of a kind. The female lead is smart, witty, and I just adore her sass! She has a way of giving a fantastical story a down to earth vibe. That said, the one two punch with Kristy Cunning's story and Holly Jackson's voice acting is a work of art. The way Holly changes her voice between each character is not only entertaining, but brings the book to life! Easily distinguishing between each character while not overly feminizing the male voices. I feel like this perfect balance would make an amazing cinematic feat!

Can't stop listening!

The plot and narrator draw you in and don't let go. I found myself wondering throughout the day what would happen next and wanting to get back to listening to the story. There's good character development and surprising plot twists. The narrator does a great job of using her voice to differentiate between each character. Only one hiccup for me, At the beginning of the book the characters are referred to by number and described only once with minimal mentions of their appearance as the story progresses I.e "he ran his hand through his dark hair in frustration". By the time they're introduced by name it's easy to lose that mental picture of who's who.

Another great journey

Lots of amazing twists and turns, and the ending had a few huge reveals that had me replaying those scenes over and over. I can't wait for Book 8 to be released on Audible.

The story by Alex Lidell is tantalizing and combined with the power of Victoria Mei's vocal narration which distinguishes many characters from each other, the story takes on a life of it's own. Beautiful done!

Great audio book overall

I purchased this book via audio as my family cancelled last minute on a long drive and it was just going to be me. Took me awhile to get over a girl doing different accents. However, if you get through the first 10 minutes by audio as you get used to it and you'll find a great reverse harem novel.
