It’s like spending time with friends. I really enjoy that Susan Erickson keeps every persons personalities throughout the whole series. I actually get sad when the book ends, until the next.
Thank you JD aka Nora for taking me away from the crazy of life and especially as I am driving the LA freeways.

What made the experience of listening to Shadow Spell the most enjoyable?

The Story Itself.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Alan Smyth?

Katherine Kellgren as she read the first and I really don't like when a series has different narrators. Plus it was hard to tell whom was whom, and he paused in strange places. My son commented that all the women sounded like old hags.

of Course - I have enjoyed all of the books, always feels like I am with friends when I listen to them - I always enjoy Susan Ericksen bringing them back to life.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

I always enjoy Eve and that man of hers - where do we find one like him. :)

Overall I think this book was more from the criminals point. I wanted more from Eve and other mains - Where were some of them? Marvis, Nadine, we barely heard from Sommerset or Morris...... The Criminal was a bit winey and I got it after the 2nd kill.... I will continue to be a fan, but I hope the next books gets back into some of the personal lives of the gang. Any Change Eve will get pregnant. Now that would be interesting.

I always love the stories, and the way Susan Ericksen brings all my old friends back to life....

Who was your favorite character and why?

Eve - She continues to grow and trust those around here - her interaction with Peabody and Mera continue to grow - she's learning to trust more than just Roarke in each book

What about Susan Ericksen’s performance did you like?

I love that I can tell who each person is just by her voice.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

no - I travel by car each day and listen while driving

Really enjoyed the 1st 2 books, just waiting for the 3rd one. I like listening to a male narration. I always enjoy Nora Roberts books.
