Past and present collide again in Monumental: Harriet Tubman and Newark’s Liberation Movement, created by Newark native Pia Wilson and performed by Newark native Queen Latifah. The first story dives into the riveting life of Harriet Tubman, immersing listeners in a memorable retelling of the adversity Harriet endured as a pioneer of the Underground Railroad. The second story reflects on the individuals and organizations at the forefront of the abolitionist movement in Newark.

Historia
While human beings weren’t looking, our lives and relationships took an evolutionary detour, leaving many of us feeling ditched in a harsh, frigid, new world, scrambling for a bit of warmth, and seeking answers to the most pressing questions of our time. Where is all the hostility and tension coming from? Is there something in the water that would explain the extreme behavior that’s unfolding? Why are our relationships more fragile than rice paper and disposed of as easily as molded bread these days?

This book gave me a profound insight into my personality and how and why myself and others operate the way we do
Revisado: 08-21-19
The Road Back To You is a very informative book! The author narrated his book, his voice is very pleasant and entertaining. He offers some of his insights from a spiritual perspective but it is in no way religious dogma. It has given me information about why I operate the way I do. Having this in-depth information allows me to appreciate more fully who I am. If I desire to change how I engage with others and the world around me, I am now knowledgeable of how I should go about doing so. I also now have a more compassionate perspective from which to evaluate others actions, words and outlooks on life.
I have been an Audible customer for 4 years or more and have never before been inspired enough to take the time to write a review. After this book I now know my value and what I and others have to offer, and I offer this review to you. I hope you find it helpful!
