I read the selection as a book first but then I decided to listen to it as an audiobook just for the fun of it cuz I was bored. but the performance is spectacular. I thought the narrator was very monotone but then I realized maybe that's how America sounds. and eventually I got used to it. this is probably one of my favorite books besides the hunger games.
each character has a different way they speak. And the narrator shows that in a fantastic way. So if you like romance and lots of different emotions I don't know how to explain it but it's amazing.

good but not enough resolution

I enjoyed this book and definitely want to know what happens next. I do think it ended rather abruptly without enough resolution. I realize it is the first of a series but it didn't feel like a complete book but more of a chapter ending.

I really enjoyed this book, I've read several sequels but this was my first variation and it was fun to see what could have happened had the characters made slightly different choices.

I had a couple issues with this book.

The storyline is relevant to current issues. For such a short book there were a lot of characters and it was difficult to keep track of them. I didn't care for the narrator unfortunately.
