Historia
The last thing Tori needs is her mother's announcement that she's preparing to marry Edward Trainor, the father of Tori's long ago summer crush, Gabe - a man who regularly makes his way into Tori's dreams some 10 years later. Corporate tycoon Jed Trainor has no intention of attending his estranged father's wedding, and he certainly doesn't need to see his half-brother Gabe after the other man put the moves on Jed's one-time fiancée.

Excellent story, characters and voice.

What did you love best about Treasure on Moon Lake?
The way the characters seemed to connect with each other which helps bring the story to life. As a reader I wanted to know what was going to happen next so it kept my interest. Ms Kaminsky read the story so you could tell what the characters were feeling.
What did you like best about this story?
Yes, I love the way the characters and location work together to give readers a way to 'see' what the characters and location looks like.
What does Eva Kaminsky bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Ms Gamet kept me interested because she gave us the background, history and the connections between characters. To me it makes the character more real and alive.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I like the performance, the only change I would suggest is for the narrator not to over exaggerate some of the characters feelings. Once in a great while a character she'll put to much emphasis on a particular characters feelings.
Any additional comments?
No, really enjoyed this book and look forward to more of Ms. Gamet's books.

Very good contemporary romantic suspense book.
Revisado: 07-10-15
What did you love best about No Perfect Secret?
The best part was showing that even though Anna was continually knocked down by the man she called 'husband' yet with support she overcame the hurt, pain and embarrassment. It shows the human spirit and strength.
What other book might you compare No Perfect Secret to and why?
Not really sure there's one book in particular but this book is somewhat about second chances and the power of friendships.
Have you listened to any of Gary Roelofs’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No, this is the first audio book that I've read with Gary Roelof' s voice. His reading is clear, easy to understand and he does a good job projecting feelings and emotions.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I would have liked to read it all at one time but it was broken up into several segments due to 'life' happening.
Any additional comments?
I really enjoyed this contemporary romance. It had a good balance of intrigue, suspense and romance. It was nice to see the lead female characters as well as several others were intelligent yet compassionate women. I don't think there's any thing I'd change bout Anna's character. Frank was a strong yet supportive main male charActer who didn't go overboard alpha. Many of the supporting characters had major impacts on the lives of the main ones. Lila, Helen, Dr Neal, Mr Charles as well as Clarence and Jojo influenced the other characters. I received a free copy of this book from the author solely in exchange for an honest review. I look forward to reading other books published by Ms Weger.

Very good contemporary romance
Revisado: 07-03-15
What did you love best about Finding Home?
The way Phoebe protected her family no matter what. She loved them and was annoyed by them but she still worked towards trying to find employment, housing and food for them.
What did you like best about this story?
The dynamics between Gage and his daughter as well as Pheobe and her family. The author focused on both the families immediate and long term issues including the budding romance.
What does Mark Hall bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
His voice is smooth and easily understood. Mark was able to vary his voice so we knew which character was talking and he was able to bring emotions forward which is important in every story. He did a good job and I enjoyed listening to him.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The moment that moved me most was when Gage decided to let Phoebe and the kids stay despite his reservations. He knows he needs help with his daughter and home even though he wasn't comfortable with Phoebe and the kids.
Any additional comments?
This was a very good contemporary romance that occurs between a woman from the hills and a hard working man. Phoebe helped to show both Gage and Dory how to work together and get to know one another so that they could all be a family. At age 24 Phoebe has taken on the role as the one responsible for the health, lodging and well being of her entire family. Gage has suffered disillusionment and doesn't even know his daughter until Phoebe and gang arrives. The author showed strong family ties and the strength of spirit and conviction of one small woman. We see how life interferes between a father and child. I look forward to reading more of this author's books in the future.

Historia
The War Between the States not only destroyed all Michael Cantrell loved, it left the young, former Confederate cavalry officer without faith or hope, a solitary, haunted man trying to escape his demons in the vast western frontier. Then, one spring day along the Wind River, he finds himself suddenly in the thick of another life-and-death struggle - Annie Devlin's war.

Awesome, moving, post civil war romance
Revisado: 07-02-15
What made the experience of listening to Terms of Surrender the most enjoyable?
Mr Tracton, who read this story did a very good job. His expressions, accents and emotions help to make this audio experience as good as it was. He has a clear and easily understood voice.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Michael the main male character was my favorite followed by Annie. Michael was a man who could have let the loss of his father, brothers, home, friends, land and even the Confederate' s loss destroy his true nature but he didn't. He went to Annie and Robbys aid without thought of what could happen to him or what he could get out of it. There's not enough truly honorable men in this world or in books so I was very pleased by his honor.
Which scene was your favorite?
My favorite scenes were the ones involving Gavin. Especially when Michael and he were 'talking' while he was recovering from his shoulder injury. Then again he an Michael 'chatted' after he and Annie first made love. Later on when Gavin and Robby were discussing Robby going back to Michael and Annie.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Pride, persistence, honor and love will prevail.
Any additional comments?
This story and characters show true strength and love. The author was able to capture the values by which the two main characters lived their lives in spite of trials, violence around them and the prejudice of others. The book contains compassion, suspense, intrigue as well as love. The commitment they showed one another throughout the story strengthened the characters and stories theme. I look forward to reading more stories by this author.
