This was such an amazing story. So inspiring! I thoroughly enjoyed how the story was laid out to teach me of the simple things but Howard also carried me on a journey. I have been hearing about this book for years and finally decided to read/listen to it. The narrator was phenomenal! Thank you for bringing this book to life. I just finished it and he’s already suggesting it to my friends and family.

very disappointed. I actually followed you. I teach my trainees to listen to your videos and read your books. How is a white man going g to tell black people how to react to being called a Nigger? But what really hurt, you kept saying it a laughing with the audience. This is not a joking matter. Laughing at someone else's pain is not a way to get your point across.

This is an awesome read. TRUE STORIES! It should also be a must read for all young back people. No one wanted us to learn. Just like we were taken from our homes and made to be slaves.
