Historia
Everyone knew Len Dreyer, a handyman for hire in the Park near Niniltna, Alaska, but no one knew anything else about him. Even Kate Shugak hired him to thin the trees on her 160-acre homestead and was planning to ask him to help build a small second cabin on her property for Johnny Morgan, a teenaged boy in her care. But she, the Park's unofficial p.i., seems to have known less about him than anyone.

Excellent as usual although just slightly less than her best (what I’ve read so far). Characters all feel like friends. Plausible story. Writing did not hold me as some others. Overall I would recommend to any of my friends.

Historia
Reservation "bad boy" Thomas Begay is found dead drunk under the La Plata Bridge, which is not unusual for him. What is unusual, however, is that beautiful BIA investigator Patsy Greyhorse is found lying beside him, not drunk or even a Navajo but very dead nonetheless. Charlie Yazzie, fresh from law school, risks his career and even his life to help his old friend. The answer seems to lie with the Yeenaaldiooshii...should one choose to believe in such things.

Story was good until the end. The closure was abrupt and I was left hanging. I felt like more closure would have been more satisfying,

Excellent
Revisado: 09-08-14
Where does Destroyer Angel rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
One of Nevada Barr's best, ranks up there with Blood Lure
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
Not on the edge of my seat but immersed in the character development and the unfolding of the story line. I enjoyed the alternate presentation of Anna while remaining true to her persona.
Have you listened to any of Barbara Rosenblat’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I think Barbara Rosentlat is one of the best narrators.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
No, I liked stretching it out
