The characters are awful, there was so many things that happened that were unnecessary and didnt make sense. It felt like the author was trying to make an edgy/ dark book but didn't understand the balance it takes, and just threw a bunch of crappy things in without having a goal as to why.

This has to be one of the hardest books to finish. I kept hoping it would get better since it has such a high rating. However, this book was complete dumpster fire, in my opinion. No redeeming things about it.

After reading this I will probably never read a Selena book again. I wish I could just get my money back.

this book is for you if
1.) You like a weak FMC who just crys and let's everyone use her how they want, she never gets better
2.) You like MMCs who are hot/cold, cruel for no reason and act like they are 7 with a gun, temper, and a god complex. They never get better.
3.) lots of abuse (of all kinds)
4.) contradictory facts

wasn't as funny as butter and black bird, but a very well written story, I felt like the MCs of the book were just as I expected from the little bits we got in the first book. Their devoplment was really well done. I lobe how the author tells sets up the world and each character. the narrators hut it out of the ball park as well. seriously can not wait for the 3 book! Highly regarded this series!

Holy cow!! This book is so so so good. Funny, sweet, spicy AF, I cannot wait to listen to the next one!! just need a cold shower first. 🥵

Really good story

This was a very well written story. I will definitely be reading it again. There was a few times I wanted to shake some sense into the main female... but with the trauma she has had it makes sense why she would do or think some of the things she does.

Really my only complaint would be the last sexy time scene... it felt like it was set up perfect, flowed into it nicely. However, it was just really lacking. LOL, other then that I really like this series.

refreshing good book, with all the feels

I will definitely be rereading this one, the drama was very little, the platonic friendships were so amazing and strong. 10/10 would recommend this if you want a really good story and all the feels, with out the drama.

the sexy stuff was minimal but well done too.

Definitely one of my most favorite books ever.

I read a lot of reviews about this book, I had read that there an almost or basically rape-ish scene... and that the main people didn't own up to the crap they did to eachother or others.

Which made me not read it for a long time. My girlfriend has been bugging me for a while now to read it.

With out anything peeking my interest as of late I figured she hasn't lead me astray yet, and knows I can't handle rape in my readings, or super whiny heroines... she assured me that is not like that and I would really like it.

So, I took the Plunge and read it ( obviously lol ) I'm so glad my GF stayed on me about listening to the book. I consumed it in one day ( because it was so good and I couldn't turn it off ) I can tell you that those reviews are crazy sauce in my opinion, I feel like this was one of the best books I've read in a long time. It feel like this book could be about real people.

With this author I am so used to having super taboo stuff, or pretty dark stuff. That this one was almost tame, it wasn't real. I'm just to far down the dark romance rabbit hole...

I would recommend this book to anyone who like some sexy scene, some lovey dovey stuff, some lessons with lighter bullying.

*There were some cameos from the Devils night characters which was a really awesome thing to read about. Especially since I had read that series a year a go. ( the sauna scene from that first book... wowza!! I still think of it..)

Mix bag of SMUT, and Magic. What could be better?

1.) Book about Magic
2.) The main Mage that you will have in the book is a list Mage, so there is a lot of sex. nothing is off limits
3.) The narrator did a great job.
4.) Story plot is pretty great, get lost a bit in the being with there being a lot of sex and trying to give all the back story.

If you like a mixed bag of smut, and Magic. then this book is for you. If you don't then.. read at your own risk.

Good flow, kept me engaged thewhole time, no extra filler words. love the authors take on wolves and the narrator's vociferous for each character.

If you like bully romance, reverse harem... this book is amazing! however, the voices of the guys are all wrong. in my opinion. I couldn't even get more then a few chapter this audio version. Highly recommend reading this book, but not the audio.
