Great, simple strategies
Revisado: 04-30-20
A few things are pretty common knowledge. There were several study strategies that were pretty novel though. Overall great book. I’d give more weight to less common techniques, and short mentions to the common ones (SMART goals, etc. - pretty well known, almost overly mentioned strategy)

Outstanding! Very basic quick lesson
Revisado: 05-17-17
A very concise way to get to some major points.
1) You don't know what you don't know
2) you're not special
And how to further think to ask the questions you don't yet know, and then to think of how you don't know how to ask the questions you simply don't know what to ask! Awesome!

Absolutely worth a read! Amazing story, perhaps one of the most detailed, from the heart books ever written.

The theories and observations in this abridged version of Prussian soldier Carl von Clausewitz's magnum opus have been heeded by military strategists for nearly 200 years. Most have considered this to be the "Bible" of military strategy and tactics.

Excellent book, awful narration.
Revisado: 07-28-16
This lady's voice is extremely high pitched and kind of annoying.
Had to adjust the bass in my car just to get through it. Ridiculously high pitched and screechy l, which ruined the audio narration of the book.
Need to repurchase this book with different narration of available. Kind of feel ripped off.

Historia
Based on previously unavailable documents and interviews with more than 100 key players, including General David Petraeus, The Insurgents unfolds against the backdrop of two wars waged against insurgencies in Iraq and Afghanistan. But the main insurgency is the one led at home by a new generation of officers - including Petraeus, John Nagl, David Kilcullen, and H. R. McMaster - who were seized with an idea on how to fight these kinds of "small wars" and who adapted their enemies' techniques to overhaul their own army.
