Need to be a Spanish speaker to enjoy

I was looking forward to enjoying this performance. However, as I progressed through the book, I became increasingly frustrated with the increasing amounts of dialogue which was in Spanish without translation. I finally had to give up about 6 hours into the book. This was after a long session of Spanish only dialogue of which I understood very little. Most frustrating and a waste of a good credit not to mention my time

Never got interested. Never understood it. Never engaged with characters. Perhaps, this (whatever it is) is better directed at pre teens or teens. Sorry, I hate writing bad reviews and will just usually pass on doing so. Unless a performance is particular good or just dreadfully bad as this is.

This book was just one old New York cop/city cliche after another. There was nothing new or novel. It has all been done before better by others. If that is what you enjoy have at it. I tried for 4 hours to find a redeeming quality, so I could stick with my expenditure. I will never get those hours back

yes...you always knew how the story would end and where it was going but the plot and reading were good enough to keep you immersed

i liked most of the characters...enough delvelopment that you knew them and not so much of a stereotype that you ignored them.
