Historia
Lana Fleming’s sister has vanished from the set of TV’s hottest show, and no one seems to care. Desperate for answers, Lana sneaks in as an extra, only to get stranded with Griffin Hart, an A-list action star with a reputation for good abs and bad decisions. Though Griffin didn’t expect to be cast as a librarian’s sidekick in a real-life thriller, he’s weirdly into it—and into her. Even more unsettling—she sees right through his playboy persona. But their meet-cute soon turns deadly when they uncover a Hollywood scandal for the ages.

Historia
Cate Kay knows how to craft a story. As the creator of a bestselling book trilogy that struck box office gold as a film series, she’s one of the most successful authors of her generation. The thing is, Cate Kay doesn’t really exist. She’s never attended author events or granted any interviews. Her real identity had been a closely guarded secret, until now.

Not bad, but not good either
Revisado: 02-24-25
The plot was good. Narrators GREAT! But the book didn’t have to be so long. The ending was meh. The author took their time to develop the characters and show different points of views, but the ending lacked the same discipline. And the main character’s actions her consequences were meh as well. I had to make myself finish and then again the ending. Not a bad ending just it’s not fulfilling.

Half way through I KNEW this would be a book I would read over and over. The narrator was awesome! Her tone and emotion was perfect. The story line was well thought out and progressed really well. It made me think made me cry and made me laugh! It’s a must read.
PS. It’s a page turner be prepared to not want to stop reading once you start!

Adina Walker has known this the entire time she’s been on scholarship at the prestigious Edgewater Academy—a school for the rich (and mostly white) upper class of New England. It’s why she works so hard to be perfect and above reproach, no matter what she must force beneath the surface. Even one slip can cost you everything.

If the Hunger Games and The movie Mean Girls had a baby. This is this book. I love the narrators voice as well. I don’t read a lot of violent books but for my first one it was t that bad.

Historia
Amanda and Clay head out to a remote corner of Long Island expecting a vacation: a quiet reprieve from life in New York City, quality time with their teenage son and daughter, and a taste of the good life in the luxurious home they’ve rented for the week. But a late-night knock on the door breaks the spell. Ruth and G. H. are an older couple—it’s their house, and they’ve arrived in a panic. They bring the news that a sudden blackout has swept the city. But in this rural area—with the TV and internet now down, and no cell phone service—it’s hard to know what to believe.

The person reading the book is great the way the author uses his words strings a sentence together is good as well. But the way it ends shouldn’t have been the way it ended. There was not enough there to end it that way.

A MUST READ! What a book! The book’s subject matter was already thought provoking but in today’s climate it really just makes one think even more. Think of the past, present, and future. Beautifully story beautifully told!

Historia
Rife with the indulgent pleasures of life among New York’s one-percenters, Pineapple Street is a smart, escapist novel that sparkles with wit. Full of recognizable, loveable—if fallible—characters, it’s about the peculiar unknowability of someone else’s family, the miles between the haves and have-nots, and the insanity of first love—all wrapped in a story that is a sheer delight.

Easy Listening
Revisado: 06-19-23
There are no major climaxes in this book. Just insight on really rich people. Kind of like being a fly on the wall. I liked the ending for the characters and the narrators voice. A good book to listen to while cleaning or for back ground noise. Not the best book ever but not bad either.

Historia
Minnie Cooper knows two things with certainty: that her New Year's birthday is unlucky, and that it's all because of Quinn Hamilton, a man she's never met. Their mothers gave birth to them at the same hospital just after midnight on New Year's Day, but Quinn was given the cash prize for being the first baby born in London in 1990 - and the name Minnie was meant to have, as well. With luck like that, it's no wonder each of her birthdays has been more of a disaster than the one before.
