Emotions, Thinking, Behavior - Language and understanding for better living
Revisado: 04-09-23
Atlas was great for me. I’m a person who really has trouble identifying a specific emotion, and with a better understanding of the drivers of emotions, which is very well displayed in this book. It really help me get a more rich vocabulary and way of expressing my emotion not just to others, but more for myself to internalize thank you bravo!

Sexy, incredible sensual detail, loving
Revisado: 09-05-20
I enjoyed the story of vulnerability, danger, daring to be with someone from “the wrong side of the tracks.” In that way, it was a underdog story with hopeful opportunities. Some of the detail is very believable as it relates to organized crime. It took me back to Chicago.
Now...the detail of sensuality is descriptive I figured the writer was a woman. No I did not review the author or want to. At the end, they say the usual I hope you’ve enjoyed this audible this was written by blah blah blah and performed by blah blah blah. Yep, written by was a woman. In this way as a midlife woman, I so wish a man could be so detailed. So, for me it was a good dose of fantasy vs reality. Still hopeful though. Super sweet story with lots of sex.

Concerned that technology is about to chase mythological creatures out into the open (how long can Sasquatch stay hidden from Google maps?), the League for Interspecies Cooperation is sending Jillian to Louisiana on a fact-finding mission. While the League hopes to hold on to secrecy for a little bit longer, they're preparing for the worst in terms of human reactions. They need a plan, so they look to Mystic Bayou, a tiny town hidden in the swamp where humans and supernatural residents have been living in harmony for generations.

Completely recommend this audiobook. The writing allows for fantastic imagination. The narration took me for a loop at first with multiple narrators throughout but what a great performance. There is laugh out loud loops, mystery, very sexy description. The characters were easily understood and relatable. I’m going strait for another from Molly Harper.

Revisado: 06-13-20
Overall the book is fantastic. Tiffany’s delivery is amazing. She’s an awesome storyteller. There are times in there where you’re rooting for their times in there where you don’t understand her which is not much different than how we feel about ourselves I’m pretty sure. This book is about a human being a human a perfectly imperfect human. It’s a story of heartache and hardship that most don’t ever survive. It’s raw and it’s worth every moment that you spend with it.

So, the only reason I came upon this book is because I clicked this goofy video on TikTok of this woman doing a covid 19 quarantine video. " prey and spray" She was wearing a Jane Fonda kind of outfit from '70s or early '80s. Within the video she's super thin (not unhealthy) just being she's 6 foot, there's a ton of meat to stuff into that sausage (I mean casing dudes) slip or vegetarian taco... I don't know whatever. Her husband loves her and she him. They, to me, seem like two folks who love their perfect imperfections.
They are those friends my mom said, "you will be lucky if you find one friend in your life who is TRULY your friend." I'm pretty certain they are real 'ride or die.' This book is entertaining and reflective is you are not a bullshitter.
I could not put this down. this sucker has either 10 or 11 chapters I don't remember which one. I could not stop.
Laura does a really good job of expressing her own mishaps, being accountable to them and in a funny way while also pointing out the importance of taking your mask off. Timely given folks putting masks on.
You won't regret buying it and you will not be able to put the book down. You will be able to see yourself in many of the stories and sometimes you'll think, 'did this person watch my life?'
Buckle up buttercup. laugh, learn and serve🙏😉🦋😘

In Braving the Wilderness, Brown redefines what it means to truly belong in an age of increased polarization.
