Good listen
Revisado: 08-16-24
It was very helpful and authors sound very kind and knowledgeable. They repeat the main ideas which is helpful to get main ideas across. Stories they use of personal experiences with dogs of all different types of breeds and situations is great too. Will most likely be listening to this again to help me really understand and practice having better pack leader skills for the benefit of me and my dog.

Historia
The relentless pursuit of high self-esteem has become a virtual religion - and a tyrannical one at that. Our ultracompetitive culture tells us we need to be constantly above average to feel good about ourselves, but there is always someone more attractive, successful, or intelligent than we are. And even when we do manage to grab hold of high self-esteem for a brief moment, we can't seem to keep it. Our sense of self-worth goes up and down like a ping-pong ball, rising and falling in lockstep with our latest success or failure.

Great Read
Revisado: 03-04-24
I liked the tone of the voice and the content. I liked that the author brought her own stories and examples into the book and had a little bit of humor. I have anxiety/depression and speak very critical to myself. This was a good read and reminder to help change my hurtful attitude and beliefs. I will definitely listen to this book again.
