I knew it was getting too big too fast to continue for much longer but I loved every minute of it.

Honestly a great series that doesn't take itself too seriously crossing several different fantasy settings together with very insightful points that people of all ages can take away from. I would recommend for young teenagers through adults.

Great series but the series has a really bad habit of leaving everything as a cliffhanger. This book is a perfect example there is zero resolutions to any of issues in this series. If I had to put a name to it I'd say that this was originally meant to be a novel or book that was broken into several bite-size segments and yes I know the anime and manga but But if you read it or listen to it you can tell that was meant to be taken all in one go honest opinion If you're not already a fan wait until the entire series is done and then by the box set because it's just going to frustrate you otherwise. The narration the story everything is great except You can tell they're drawing it out for more money.

setup for the next book

I really do enjoy this series but the chapters in Paris just seem forced as I'm used to a more immersive story from this author. Instead I kept on having to reread sections as I felt that I was being rushed through although that might be because the author was trying to push the urgency of the situation. I'm not going to ruin the ending for anyone but It makes it clear that this book is definitely laying the ground for the next one. So I look forward to the next.

This book is perfectly ludicrous. It uses the absurdity of reality to make you believe in the story.

Wonderful worth every penny.

This series just gets better and better. it's funny it's action-packed and it keeps me guessing. I thank the author for giving me an audiobook of such length and quality. This is a rare gem of a series. I drive a lot and do a lot of mundane tasks dairy and a nice long audiobook is exactly what I need. I will be waiting with bated breath for the next one, and the one after that, and the one after that.

Good but very cringy

This book was recommended to me and I really wanted to like it but it was a little bit too cringe-worthy for me. I'm not going to spoil it but if you like the IT crowd or little Britain you'll probably enjoy this. If you want something a little less raunchy and a bit more mystery I suggest the circles of hell series.

needs better relationship development

honestly this book would be so much better without the sex. it honestly just seems thrown in so that it can be counted as a male romance novel. The relationships have literally no build up and if it wasn't for the clumsy attempt to throw a realistic sex in it I would consider it the gay Dresden files.

start at the beginning of the series.

For a series this long the author has kept it extremely interesting. this felt almost like a throwback to the beginning of the series it had the same feel and flow as the first few did. The last few books felt like the author was trying something new something different in his style while trying to add in new ideas into the story. "which there's nothing wrong with they're great but" This one was like sitting down in front of a movie you know you're going to love, getting the good seat while having warm popcorn and a soft drink. For me this was a perfect comfort listen And I can't wait for the next one.

Hit's The Sweet spot of modern day fantasy.

it's rare for me to find a book series that I do more than smirk through, this one made me giggle laugh feel outraged and gave me the emotional charge that I knew the author was capable of.
when I first heard this series with the first book I never thought it would go this far, the concept for this series seemed too good to last. Now I can't imagine it ending as he has created a unique fantasy world comprable to discworld, The Dresden files, and Harry Potter. Every dream I've had for a modern-day fantasy world has come true in this series and I thank Drew Hayes and Kirby Heyborne for bringing it to life.
I wait with bated breath for the next in the series and hope it never truly ends.
