I never knew the early days of Elon

I know Elon Musk said of his father a harsh even cruel man he is and how he treated Elon. My dad and mom were not altogether unlike Elon's dad and mom. One can be broken and a victim of hard parents, or use the harshness for the better. I see and feel I understand Elon Musk having listened to this book. I am retired for some years, life teaches us through others. I really liked and enjoyed this audio book. Bye the by my parent could be very loving and I know they loved me, my dad always said He did what he did so that I'd grow to be A MAN I raised my sons to be MEN my daughters to be WOMEN. I was not the best and yet I did my best. Growing up poor and not coddled was one of the best things I can say was a blessing.

Narnia books led me to JRR Tolkien's epics and Charles Dickens and more. That Hideous Strength the 3rd and final book of three adult fiction,series, not that a teen not try and read but it's not a child's fiction. Outer Space with much symbolic tones. I read the series of 3 books and this audio version is excellent. I must say you will find it a good book and it's word for word as the book itself. A must if you are a C S Lewis reader. I think you will be happy after reading or in this case listening to the series. I highly recommend This Trilogy by Lewis

Outer Space sort of story with much symbolic tones. I read the series of 3 books and this audio version is excellent. I must say you will find it a good book and it's word for word as the book itself. A must if you are a C S Lewis reader.

Aquireing a new language

These stories are helping me acquire the Brasiliero Portugues ( Brasilian Portuguese) language. The stories are not boring and at the end of each story the vocabulary is gone over, thus aiding one even more. I am pleased with this audio book. I highly recommend it.

history told of a legendary figure and his people

I been chipping away at this audio book, the narrator and content are excellent, enjoyable mostly history, school never teaches us. The mostly untold story and history of Indigenous American peoples that takes the listener/reader to places we are deliberately guided away from, from kindergarten to high school and beyond. This audio book is beautiful, I'm happy I chose it.
Hollywood perverts how we see indigenous Americans, mostly but has been better since Marlon Brando helped bring to light the truth of how movies have influenced how we see these noble humans. History books fail in accuracy and the genocide Euro-American people did. Sadly our American history yet to know more truthful history must be known. Recommend this book!

Hated yet Loved my many

Larry Elder is a hard hitting educated radio host many dislike even hate, but I have emense respect and admiration for him. His insight and way of saying the truth is hard hitting, and he tells of his growing up in South Central Los Angeles. How he saw his dad and how he sees things now. Like things between me and my dad it was not easy growing up, but as I matured I come to love and admire my dad, well I always loved my dad but not always liked him. This is a story of real life and should be heard by all men young and old. I think we all can relate. Larry as author and narrator make this book especially touching and good.

I love Mother Nature

David Attenborough is a true gift for all ages, he lives in our minds through all his adventures making films of nature, we all never knew existed. This books tells of how he first got started making films and the goings on that he lived while making his films, something we never think about, I bet. You will be delighted with this book and the best part is David himself tells the story. His voice is probably the most recognizable to countless millions all over this globe.
