This book should Easily blow up.

One of my favorite books of 2025 thus far. In the beginning, I wasn't a big fan of how naive the MC was. But the more you read the more everything about him makes sense. He definitely has the street smarts that come with being an Orphan and the hardiness a lot of authors seem to miss when making characters with a rough upbringing. The MC probably has the lowest starting point I've read in a character since Re:Zero and makes a decent amount of mistakes. However, his development is pretty awe-inspiring. His potential grows hand in hand with his capabilities. Towards the end, after suffering a major setback we see the MC go from a seed planted in concrete to a bud that breaks through.

My personal hope for book 2 is for the MC to develop with the scars of his suffering. After reading about what he has been through This MC should never be a Superman build in terms of personality and more Antihero kind of like batman if the author intends on him being a good guy.

Great Addition, MC's flawless virtuousness beginning to be annoying.

A great story fun to read OP MC who is still developing. However the MC is a bit too flawless. He doesn't want or need anything. Not even gold. Bank exist in this story.

The love interest he chooses, despite having endless options, is the worse possible choice. She brings nothing to the table. He chooses her possiblely only because no one else would. Who goes to a brothel find a prostitute and decides " Yes, i will love you"

He lost any qualities from his life as a street orphan. Apart from him actually gaining the willingness to kill his enemies, sometimes. It feels like a cultivation story if written by disney.

great series as per usual but why split it?

I can't fathom why this was split into two separate books. seems like a greed thing, the ending point didn't even make sense it was just an abrupt cut off. like they flipped through the book randomly and said I am going to stop it here.

I can't see myself sending credits on this.

amazing addition to the storyline. Found a way to have an OP MC not shatter the storyline while also leaving room for plot development. The universe in this series just feels real.

series unlike any other

This is great for people who like antiheros/villains. MC is highly competent and empire building novel, but not detailed about the infrastructure.
The system also doesn't seem like a large part of the story yet.

Story give me anxiety,but I like it.

I am a big fan of the story. The concept and story line is different from most things you will read. It's the MC that grinds my gears.

His naivety is overwhelming at this point. He is a modern citizen at heart at what point does he rebel against a very restraining system. He is too ok with being subservient, most people would seek to escape as soon as possible. He is comfortable living his life on the knife edge, which is annoying.

Great Story but the MC is an idiot

It's a fun and unique storyline. However the restrictions and secrets are getting to be a bit annoying to me.

The MC is terrible at keeping his secrets and Frankly talks too much.

I'd love to see him focus on his growth a bit more but his duties really limit his opportunities.

Seth Ring Doesn't Miss

Seth historically has done a really good job with OP MC's and with the strong to stronger tag I seen when he posted this I was expecting much of the same.

To be frank this MC is no where near OP, above average at best with plot given set backs, however he is highly competent and intelligent which makes this such a fun read.

It is a card based series, but book one doesn't heavily feature the cards. It sets a solid foundation without rushing through anything.

This is going to be a phenomenonal series.

Pretty Good

I would give this story a 4.5/5.

The Druid class the MC uses is pretty cool, and the author makes it so that he isn't pigeon holed with his stats and is actually very versatile.
The only things i really disliked is that some of the MC's rewards after major accomplishments seem a little underwhelming. I'd kind of expect the gap between a rare class and a common one to be pretty large, but there isnt much to it when compared to the others. Its hard to say that the MC's strength is due to his special class or just his higher level. It's not really fair to compare him to Zac Atwood, but that is the tone being set here.

That is my and all the introspection and monologuing is my only Gripe, but overall i really enjoyed the story and look forward to book 2.
