A must-read for all Americans

Here it is, in all its redacted glory. Now that's a word you're going to hear a lot.

The report reads like the news reports over the last three years. It doesn't offer much that is actually new to anybody who has been paying attention.

Still, for anyone who wants to have an opinion on current events, this report is a must-read. News reports and commentary do not do it justice. Like Muller himself said in his one public address in May, the report speaks for itself.

There is enough here to get the gist.

Read it. Then make up your own mind.

Trite, Rehashed, Self-Promoting

This was a serious disappointment. I've read a lot of the major motivational writers and this book offers nothing new.

Worse, it's like modern rap songs that insist on singing/saying their own name.

After the 5th or 6th time, I got a little fed up with hearing the constant self-promotion and advertising -- "for more information, see my web site [gives url]" . UGH. I just bought your book. Give me the resources at the end or beginning but quit browbeating me with it continually through the text of the book.

For people who have never read a motivational book, it offers some useful tips but at that beginner level, books by Dale Carnegie, Zig Ziglar, Brian Tracy, Anthony Robbins, Napoleon Hill etc would be far more useful.

Decent advice

Decent advice would prefer it though if Kezia would have narrated it herself.

The first chapter is a bit tiresome because it comes off as a whole lot of "look at what a hot woman I am". However, it does set the base for the rest of the book.

Narration was so bad, it was unlistenable.

If you're going to have an English language book narrator, please have a human narrator for whom English is their first language. This was SO bad,. I spent most of the time listening wondering whether they'd cheaply converted it to an audiobook by passing it to a voice bot.

The sad thing is, I really REALLY wanted to hear the story, too.

I like John Douglas' books. I would much rather hear him read them himself. I really do not like John Barrett's narration.

some good information but...

I waited in anticipation for this book. With 45+ years of first hand experience in the world of fighting obesity, new information is always welcome. indeed I did learn some new things but then the book degenerates into a "if it's natural it's good otherwise it's not" rant. Dr Fung shows his strong bias here and adds a lot of conjecture that I found rather difficult to believe. Thus, I recommend reading for information but use your own judgement when it comes to the advice. I was at once happy to learn new information but also disappointed that it degenerates into yet another yuppie rant.

a little over the top on love of alcohol

meh. repetitive and self promoting. limited value

it was a really hard slog listening to this book. the first part covers the obvious and sounds like an eBay users guide documenting every button. the meat of the book can be summed up in a few paragraphs which amount to normal prudence. the rest is a repetitive set of get-this or get-that promoting his web site. I'll never get that time back. I didn't really learn anything new.

a riveting and touching story

the author brings you into her world for two years while she gets involved with the drug trade and the life surrounding it. as a reader, one empathizes easily with her through the whole thing. it leaves a lasting impression. well worth it. buy this book.
