A great source for creative believers

Matt Tommey provides confirmation that creativity can be a calling. He lays out a sound biblical response to that calling & shares many stories to see that plan at work. This isn’t a do this and that will certainly happen promise of wealth. It is about receiving the blessing of responding to the calling to offer your creativity as an act of worship. If wealth & notoriety come about, then that too is a part of the blessing. Regardless of your medium, when you invite the Holy Spirit into your creativity & respond to the presence of divine creativity, worship is the outcome.
I found this particularly encouraging in times when I’m home bound from chronic pain & the only outlet is to be in divine company & we make art together. Sometimes, it is me making the piece, other times it is studying the beauty of nature around me, but it is the connection of enjoying it together that brings worship to the forefront.
Matt has some many ways to help Creatives to thrive. There is no doubt that this IS his calling, to be “a father to artists” and help us to connect to The Father of all.
