They say you shouldn't ask your mom whether your business is a good idea, because she loves you and will lie to you. This is technically true, but it misses the point. You shouldn't ask anyone if your business is a good idea. It's a bad question, and everyone will lie to you at least a little. As a matter of fact, it's not their responsibility to tell you the truth. It's your responsibility to find it, and it's worth doing right.

This is the most useful book for an entrepreneur! I had listened to it while I was already doing customer interviews and it improved my questions so much! I loved the tips about informality - it made get so much more feedback!

very sweet love story. I liked the bits of politics.
two things I didn't like:
1. there was no reason to make the candidate of the republican party and actual bad guy, he could have just been their political rival. the story would have worked better without villanizing him
2. it is very sad to know that in newer versions of this book the author chose to remove references to Israel and Harry Potter. they appear in this audiobook and I like them there
