Historia
A real-life Talented Mr. Ripley, the unbelievable 30-year run of a shape-shifting con man. The story of Clark Rockefeller is a stranger-than-fiction twist on the classic American success story of the self-made man-because Clark Rockefeller was totally made up. The career con man who convincingly passed himself off as Rockefeller was born in a small village in Germany.

Amazing story. The narrator was excellent. This should be a movie. Though people will think it's all fiction. But it shows how a con man can continue to fool intelligent people. They heard the name Rockefeller and at once started to believe anything that came out of his mouth. No matter how far fetched. Rockefeller meant money so how could you go wrong.. The con man had them. It could happen to any of us. it seems if the con can identify preconceived ideas in people he is on his way.

I had read Election and saws the movie. This was a great sequel. Like The Candy House it wasn't presented as a normal story. But Flick was done much better. There were a few surprises, laughs, and drama. Maybe space for a trilogy?

I have always had a love of flying. There was a time when I flew weekly. But learning of these pioneers renewed my interest. The author did an amazing job and the narration was excellent. This book turned out to be quite a bargain.

Historia
The Candy House opens with the staggeringly brilliant Bix Bouton, whose company, Mandala, is so successful that he is “one of those tech demi-gods with whom we’re all on a first name basis.” Bix is forty, with four kids, restless, and desperate for a new idea, when he stumbles into a conversation group, mostly Columbia professors, one of whom is experimenting with downloading or “externalizing” memory. Within a decade, Bix’s new technology, “Own Your Unconscious”—which allows you access to every memory you’ve ever had, and to share your memories in exchange for access to the memories of others—has seduced multitudes.

Not as Good as the reviews
Revisado: 06-23-23
It might be me but I was disappointed\. It seemed like a bunch of short stories. The girl with the Apple wish list of human computer digits went on too long. But maybe I am too old for this. 77. If you enjoyed it fine.
