I was terribly disappointed when the BIG announcement wasn't made in the ending and Patrick's reaction wasn't written. What an anti-climax that was. It was like a rush to the finish...like Sharon was tired of writing or something.

It was so good, I cried. Feehan is incapable of writing a bad book. She has four excellent series that I can't stop reading... Ghostwalkers, Carpathians, Leopards and Shadow Riders. We need her cloned so she can write faster.

I gave this 3 stars because I can't stand first person stories, unless they are autobiographies. I don't know why, I just really can't read or listen to them. So out of 3 stories, I listened to two good stories.

I love Christine Feehan. I'm sorry to take off stars for the narration. The reader needs to be a bit younger to match the voice that would come from the young woman on the front cover. The male voice would be nicer coming from a man.

No, but I think she needs to be narrating the voice of a more mature woman.

What would have made Mastered better?
This book goes right back to Audible. I always buy Maya Bank's books without reading the description or reviews, but I will not be buying her books ever again. I can't believe that she left this book hanging after over 13 hours of listening.
After this one, I will no longer be reading or listening to her books. I don't even want to know what happens in the next one.
