Historia
As a progressive commentator on Fox News and now CNN, Sally Kohn has made a career out of bridging intractable political differences, learning how to talk civilly to people whose views she disagrees with passionately. Famously "nice", she even gave a TED Talk about what she termed emotional correctness. But these days, even Kohn has found herself wanting to breathe fire at her enemies. It was time, she decided, to look into the ugliness erupting all around us.

Everyone should listen to this!!! The beginning is a little rough but the rest pulls it all together!! I’m so glad I listened. It moved me and educated me on how to educate generations of past hate and how to change thought patterns for the future leaders of our world.

Historia
Let's face it: We all know people who are irrational. No matter how hard you try to reason with them, it never works. So what's the solution? How do you talk to someone who's out of control? What can you do with a boss who bullies, a spouse who yells, or a friend who frequently bursts into tears? In his book Just Listen, Mark Goulston shared his best-selling formula for getting through to the resistant people in your life. Now he brings his communication magic to the most difficult group of all - the downright irrational.

Must read!
Revisado: 09-27-16
This will help everyone to understand how emotions get every day people to spiral out of control. We all have our own craziness at times and if not understood by others it can lead down dark paths. This is a must read for law enforcement and health care workers, and anyone with a child or aging parent. Very well written and performed!

Historia
We live in a world that's very different from the one in which Emily Post came of age. Many of us who are nice (but who also sometimes say "f*ck") are frequently at a loss for guidelines about how to be a good person who deals effectively with the onslaught of rudeness we all encounter. To lead us through this this miasma of modern manners, syndicated columnist Amy Alkon - The Advice Goddess - gives us a new set of manners for our 21st-century lives.
