Being a sci-fi geek and JAFF lover, this was right up my alley! It was fascinating to listen to my favorite Austen characters in a whole new context!
The twist at the end was worth the 20 hour listen, and I never got bored with the story!

Story is great! Narration ins cringy!

One of my favorite authors, so I muscled through listening to this book. ODC are strong and it is a good, low angst version.
The narrator, however was AWFUL! So many mispronunciations it was distracting. Wrong character names and voice switching where one couldn’t tell who was talking!! I will think twice if I see this narrator on any other book.

Having a dragon friend can be complicated, this is a great foray in to the world of The Blue Order, where special people who can hear dragons have many adventures! The series is one of my favorites and this anthology enriches and explains some of the wider world of The Blue Order. Ben Fife does a great job as narrator, bringing all our new dragon friends to life!

Keeping a hibernating dragon should have been a simple thing. Should have been, but it was not. Apparently, nothing involving dragons was ever simple, at least not for Anne Elliot, junior keeper to dragon Kellynch. With the estate in debt, Anne’s father in denial, and the dragon’s treasure missing, Kellynch’s awakening is shaping up to be nothing short of catastrophe. Not to mention, there was the pesky matter of her own broken heart and resentment against the old friend who had caused it.

I really like Connor & feel bad for the guy. I had a hard time connecting with the other characters in this book. Now, it's the 2nd book in the series and felt the quintessential type of bridge. Starting book 3 now. Happy reading!
