This book was really interesting and, at minimum, gave me significant food for thought. Specifically the frameworks and evaluations of intersectionality, to me at least, seemed really interesting interesting.

That said, this book felt American to me; which I get given the author etc... but some books feel general enough to apply in other places. This one didn't achieve that. Maybe that's not a bad thing if that's the main audience of the book but for me it just seemed hard at times to apply what was being said to.the systems I knew (which aren't the American ones)

Not great as an audiobook

While I was expecting something that was focused on the subject matter and what some people might describe as "dry". I'm a very auditory learner so audiobooks tends to be my method of choice. That said, this book just did not seem to translate into an audiobook well.
