wonderful production!

this book was incredible and the best part of it was the amazing production and narration. Intriguing, engaging, delightfully funny and suspenseful enough to keep you at the edge of your seat. This book is basically Andy Weir meets guardians of the galaxy, and I mean it as a compliment. The audible production took it to new heights.
I can't wait to see what happens next.

a must read for any animal lover

I read this book in one sitting. I'm so ridiculously moved by this story. Picking this book up I expected a cute piece of literature to read and forget. What I got was a heartbreaking story that inspired me and will remain with me, probably for ever. Thank you for everything you've done, and how amazing you are. You're an inspiration to everyone around. You've changed many lives and I wish all of us find it in us to be a little more like you. This book is a must read for all animal lovers.

mediocre story, bad performance

by the time the book ended I could barely bare listening to the narrator's whining the plot. the book itself is angsty enough, but the crybaby voice the narrator keeps doing makes it even worse. the story started so promising and ended so meh. I'm so disappointed

perfect as an introduction for Norse mythology

A very short yet engaging and interesting collection of Norse folklore. This book is a breeze to read and it provides the main stories in an interesting way without throwing in too many dull details. This is a very good book for anyone who's looking for the main gist of Norse mythology.

Frank is the absolute best narrator that ever blessed us with his art. This tribute was fantastic and nostalgic as I have been listening to a lot of his work (he is the one person I'd choose books according to him narrating them regardless of the book itself) and was very well edited. Frank might have passed but his name and art lives on 🖤

amazing narration to a fantastic story

This has been my best read of the year. The story is delightful, funny, interesting and sciency but not in an overwhelming way. Weirs writing is very light and fun to read and the narration of this book is spectacular and adds so much to the story. Amazing piece of science fiction. I wouldn't recommend reading it in any other format other than this audiobook.

sad twilight ripoff

I enjoy my occasional brain candy, but this book is a joke.
The whole story seems like the writer thought she could make Twilight better, but other than adding a mess of different paranormal beings, and making the whole vampire situation a bit more convenient for anyone involved, Tracy didn't do anything to change the plot even a little bit. The result - a sad copy of something that should have never been written in the first place. The plot is predictable, the character development is non existent, the romance doesn't make sense even a little and the story in general is uninteresting and very superficial. The only reason I gave it two stars instead of one is that I managed to finish it which already is an achievement.
Also - and this is my main annoyance with this book - it is unclear how anyone who calls himself a writer can think it makes sense to spice up a novel (and I mean ALL OVER the book) with phrases like "wtf", "fml", and "amazing af". Those repeat quite often as the main characters thoughts, along with other expressions that are the mark of fine literature, like an exclamation of "he did this and that - swoon..." And many others. I get that she was trying to portray a teenage girl, but the result is just pitiful to read. I am not even a little interested to continue to the next books and I am not going to.

I am legend is absolutely phenomenal. This is one of the absolute best post apocalyptic stories I've ever read, and I've read many. The writing style and the character building is astounding, the atmosphere is breathtaking, and while the story is clearly fantastic, you just buy it, you know?
My only complaint about this book is the choice to combine this masterpiece with other stories. Most of them were good, but after the first story I barely managed to pay attention. This deserves it's own book, to finish in one breath and let it stay with you for days.
If you like post apocalyptic horror and dystopian novels, RUN to get this book.
Also, I have listened to this gem on audible. The narration is amazing and adds so much to it. Just wow.
