Vulnerability at it's finest!
Revisado: 04-10-24
I loved the circular way she told her story. The difficulty in finding a way to start seemed to have been profound. Although the story itself seemed to be an emotional rollercoaster, I shed a tear at the whale eye contact. I also feel a deep connection to the waters of the world. This memoir puts an urge in me to touch and hug Kerry. I am so proud of her for speaking her truth.

Very long, but
Revisado: 03-14-24
I was a bit intimidated about the length of this book at first, but my curiosity won out, and I so glad it did! The author touched on just about EVERYTHING you can think of that pertains, not only to aging, but also dying and diet. They all pretty much lean towards the WFPD diet being at the center of life, aging, and health. I learned way more than I wanted to, and am spreading the knowledge in as many conversations as I can. I love research-based facts. My college professors were sticklers for it, so now I am as well. I started saying, "Put it to the test!", before he could get it out! Made me laugh and feel as though I was still paying attention 20+ hours into it. This book is definitely a keeper, in that there as so many details to remember you will definitely need to go back and listen again. I plan to make a list of the facts/details I need personally and who knows. It might change over time.

A roadmap to finding my unique purpose

Great ideas!
Revisado: 03-13-23
I chose to start my listening journey here and I'm glad I did. I am aware of using binders, so this concept wasn't foreign to me. plus, I'm a nurse and had to deal with my father's estate after he passed. Because of these similarities, I am likely partial in my review. That being said, I enjoyed her speaking, even rambling along at times, because she sounds a bit like me! I can't wait to dig in! I hope to get motivated to RE -Jumpstart my organizing journey!

I loved listening to Michelle's voice. I enjoyed all of her details and picturesque memories. I smiled, on several occasions, as she walked me down memory lane of my childhood in Chicago. Although I looked forward to listening to this book every day, I dreaded finishing it. This book has renewed my love of audible books!
