The Hunted
Revisado: 07-09-10
Talk about a book that makes one wonder who is who and what is what. Every time I thought I knew who the characters were, I found they were completely different. Very interesting book of fiction. I kept wondering on what the story was based. If you like international intrigue, this one is different.

Dead Aim
Revisado: 07-09-10
I was completely drawn into the story line of Perry's Dead Aim. The main character continues to look for answers and I felt as though I were a part of the process. This is a good read/or listen, as the case may be.

Historia
The messages waiting for Henry Pierce when he plugs in his new phone clearly aren't intended for him. They indicate something has gone terribly wrong for a woman named Lilly. Pierce probes, investigates, and then tumbles through a hole, leaving behind a life driven by work to track down and help a woman he's never met. Connelly's latest is "a grabber from the beginning...utterly compelling."

Chasing the Dime
Revisado: 10-20-08
Chasing the Dime holds your attention from the first few minutes to the final scene. The characters are fully developed and identifiable. Emotional content is strong and the feeling of frustration of the main character carries the listener along from one discovery to the next. If you like people oriented mysteries, this is a good read.

Mary Mary
Revisado: 01-24-08
James Patterson is one of my favorite authors and he certainly did not disappoint me with Mary Mary. He keeps the reader guessing because the reader has some information first hand from the killer and is also privy to the thinking process of Alex Cross. Entertaining listening, especially on a medium car trip.

Historia
When CIA "fixer" Micah Dalton's friend and mentor turns up dead, he's put on a collision course with a killer who has a penchant for intricate knife-work and Native American mysticism, a sadist who is killing ex-CIA agents. The victims are hard-nosed field men whose only link to one another seems to be a global surveillance operation called Echelon. The murders appear to be acts of retribution. But for what?

The Echelon Vendetta (Unabridged
Revisado: 09-25-07
Way too much Koontz-like for my tastes and I almost pitched the whole download. Once the author led me out of the science fiction type story line, I was able to stay with the book. I would look very hard at another book by this author to avoid the irrational. It is not fun to listen to while driving or doing dishes, my usual locations for audible book listening. If you like Koontz, you should like this. If not, only the first part of the book seems totally unreal.
