Historia
When you’ve betrayed your revolutionary cadre, an off-grid fight club on a remote tropical island is a good place to hide - or die. For notorious ex-hacker Emily Kim, the outcome of each fight makes little difference. Black-market blood sport is the perfect self-imposed penance. But when she stumbles on a plot to overthrow the corporate empire that provides the ubiquitous global feed, Emily discovers her old friends have been targeted. Warning them will force her out into the open, back on-grid, and directly into danger. Emily can’t escape the past. But can she seize the future?

Historia
Audible Originals takes to the high seas to bring to life this timeless tale of pirates, lost treasure maps and mutiny. When weathered old sailor Billy Bones arrives at the inn of young Jim Hawkins' parents, it is the start of an adventure beyond anything he could have imagined. When Bones dies mysteriously, Jim stumbles across a map of a mysterious island in his sea chest, where X marks the spot of a stash of buried pirate gold.

Great audio drama. Really worth it.
Revisado: 08-28-19
This was my first audio drama. At first the format felt a little disorienting because it's really not an audio book, it's more of a theater play you listen to.
At times I couldn't keep up with which characters were talking precisely because a lot of the description and narration you see in books is missing here, and at times the amazing performances and accents meant the dialogue was in a difficult to understand accent.
But if you take this for what it really is - entertainment in the form of an audio drama - then I think you'll have a great time.
The performances and audio effects are great, and I enjoyed it from beginning to end.

It's the type of cyber thriller that is easy to read or listen to. I couldn't put it down!
