Good story but long in the tooth
Revisado: 01-22-20
I love a story with good twists that leave me guessing. And I wouldn’t mind another book in this series. My only critique is that the peaks had very long valleys between them. At times it was hard to get through.

Valuing each day is easier if you know it’s your last. If you are lucky enough that this isn’t your last day, enjoy the comedic reminder, to value the here and now ,that is this radio play.

Historia
Damico writes games for a living. When called in to rescue a local roleplaying game demo, Damico is shot in the head by a loony fan. He awakens in a game. A game full of hackneyed tropes and clichéd plots. A game he was there to save, run by the man who murdered him just moments ago. A game that has just become world-swap fantasy. Damico, to his horror, has become the heart of the cliché.

Not great but would read again
Revisado: 12-12-17
A little dry and the story didn’t resolve... but the chapter quotes were fun. The nerd patronage is always welcome.

Historia
Tybolt's a Deviant, a hated race immune to direct magic in a world where Wizards ensure survival. But when he loses his entire family to a spell-made storm, he joins an elite group of Wizard hunters, organized beneath the new, non-magic-wielding king. Now 18, he spends his days capturing Wizards. But the nights are his, reserved to feed the starving villagers of Eriroc under cover of dark. There's always more people in need than he can help, and one of these days he's going to hang for theft from the royal kitchens.

Solid idea and performance
Revisado: 07-11-16
I really liked the idea of the story but found the writing to be at times a bit premature. I felt that if the author had spent a little more time on the laws and nature of magic in the story it would have flowed better. A little less time spent on the conflict between Tybolt and Terric which was overall too predictable.
The performance was phenomenal. I thought the giant pauses between chapters were a bit annoying but the pacing and character interpretations were wonderfully done.
