Wow! Sagan's Demonic World!

Carl Elwes ruined it for me to tell the truth! If I had not been captured by the sustance of Sagan's presentation of the world with its demons which include humans who struggle with...huge questions of like: why are we? Is there just us? Are we truly alone, or are there
extraterrestial beings which monitor our existential, and why?
Unfortunately the choice of Carl Elwes ruined it for me. Because of my impaired vision I have no oth÷er choice but try to stick thru Sagan to the end with the history of how 'men' destroy mostly women and innocent children through ghastly 'religious' inspired witch hunts. Anyway, I am glad I finally discovered Carl Sagan, and. hope his other Audible books will provide that option.

He was there! Accurate!

Difficult to listen to, but I had read Fanone's book a year or more ago and both Nicole Wallace and Joy Reid had interviewed Harry and I had listened to him and seen him in many tapes of 1/6.
He never maligned Fanone and had a special frienship with him as they shared the day this fanatical attack took place on a Capitol I have visited several times from top to bottom and from House to Senate...Rotunda and underground railway.
His use of some four letter words were offputting, but I am so glad he was able to appear as a witness to some of those fanatic followers jury trials and give firsthand account of their part in this Trump orchestrated attack on our democratically elected servants of the people as THEY tried to carry out their constitutional duty to the state elector count confirming the voters' choice for president, Joe Biden.
Officer Dunn story adds important truth to this day of infamy in the 21st century as democracy was attacked!

I cannot stand the narrator!!!! I must return the book. The quality of the narrator turns this book into a stylized , annoying radio show of some kind...giving the happenings a stylized sameness that is supposed to be amusing. Nothing is amusing about these killings! The people and how they are killed is somehow made sheer horror...nothing I wish to hear...just a horrific string of pyschotic killings.

It was just horrible! The story, ( was there one?)was impossible to follow! supposedly it was some of critique of the FBI or some government agency, addressed the issue of the attack on the Texan cult.from +1989...One running story was of Roy, a sick guy worse than any real one Exusting ever! Then the only one who had a dog, sirt of a hero...right toward the end...got sexually gruesome involving him as a child, his dad, and the murder of his mom. I quit! would lovve to return this disgusting piece of porn!

Halfway through the book, the plot made a total left turn. We were unexpectedly introduced to a whole story twist that left me out of...interest...I struggled with just Mr. Bennett off on his own, bored and confused to I just Quit! Btw, the reader was blah too. He probably hated the story too.

There was nothing in this book about Trump and his close appointees that was new. I was led to believe that the author was going to reveal the Trump close associates who planned how preventing the Congressional acceptance of the states' authorized and true distributional of their electoral votes for president. That Mike Pence would make some speech stating that the distribution could not be endorsed by Congress because there is overwhelming "evidence" that the people's voting was fraudulent based on an ongoing incomplete effort to prove millions of votes were fraudulent per cheating done by the Democrats, as yet still being challenged by thevperson whose followers were in the process of contesting the votes counted in states dominated by Republicans in 2016. I was looking for this book to identify the Trump staff and lead Republicans who were instrumental and on record of providing him with a plan to undo the fair election 2020. Nothing here!
