Historia
Satisfy your craving for extraordinary authors and exceptional fiction: Meet the women writers who defied convention to craft some of literature’s strangest tales, from Frankenstein to The Haunting of Hill House and beyond. Frankenstein was just the beginning: horror stories and other weird fiction wouldn’t exist without the women who created it. From Gothic ghost stories to psychological horror to science fiction, women have been primary architects of speculative literature of all sorts. And their own life stories are as intriguing as their fiction.

the queer anthology we need
Revisado: 05-27-20
too often the stories of lgbtq people go unheard, unstated, unread- and within that paradigm the stories of our black queer sacred siblings heard even less. I am grateful for this collection that gives voices to a doubly underrepresented community

it's alright. spookier at the end
Revisado: 02-22-20
everything felt like it was just shy of an actual scary story. near the end it's kind of spooky, but only cause it's real. it's not a drama or a reenactment, so dont expect much variety in the narrator's voice.

NOT AN ANTHOLOGY- more ~ episodes from a stoner
Revisado: 09-23-19
I thought like some of the other awesome horror anthologies on Audible, that this would be a series of unrelated and terrifying stories from gas stations. Instead it's mediocre comedy using haunt tropes that seem to also be an ad for Creepypasta in general

too much racism to maintain enjoyment
Revisado: 09-17-19
I really enjoyed the opening, but (spoilers) every character, except the black female lead, exhibited racism, either blatant or in character... eventually, I got to wear I only stuck with it because of the time already invested. the voice acting was good, but eventually it ended on a superbly racist sentiment that disappointed. great concept, but it was ruined for me

a different kinda couples book
Revisado: 04-12-19
this couples-in-distress book steps beyond the normal 'instructions on how to get along,' and offers couples a chance to act- like themselves- but then recognize the emotional reasons behind the nuttiness and recognize the non-productive patterns they're stuck in. sometimes a little hokey and could use a little reeling-in on 'sounds too good to be true outcomes,' but taken in combination with the "how not to fight books" could be helpful
