B2C mostly
Revisado: 11-27-24
Mostly a b2c book. Some good psychological discussions about how to encourage certain behaviors. Some good stories. Obviously there are b2c tactics that can be used for b2b, but I wish this book would have said that it was mostly a b2c book upfront somehow.

Collection of cliches
Revisado: 08-20-24
Mostly a small business B2C book for people who have very little or no marketing experience. I suppose this is his chosen niche, so can’t fault him for the content. I didn’t find much value for B2B tech marketing than a reminder to focus on the most important things. The book had a lot of what felt like often repeated cliches (Amazon doesn’t sell book, Airbnb owns no buildings, etc). I suppose thats what the author deemed best practices, but it was too general for me. Fine for your first introductory book into marketing.

Revisado: 02-10-24
Out of date. Fluffy consultant talk. Way too much of “select an AI leader” or “think about what you really want to do before you do it” type of stuff. Two stars instead of 1 just because it had 2-3 good examples in the 10 chapters.

Historia
This 10-part history of mathematics reveals the personalities behind the calculations: the passions and rivalries of mathematicians struggling to get their ideas heard. Professor Marcus du Sautoy shows how these masters of abstraction find a role in the real world and proves that mathematics is the driving force behind modern science.

Didn’t feel like a history, but still entertaining
Revisado: 11-06-23
Felt more like an entertaining overview of 5-6 mathematicians and was less of a history of the key areas of math than I thought, but I’m not a mathematician so maybe it was “rigorous” enough for a 2-hour audio book.
