I have enjoyed this series. The reading and dialog is top notch. I think the character backstories and storyline are fantastic. The plot and speed are also awesome. Looking forward to the other books.

What an incredible story of bravery and valor.

This was an amazing first-hand account, backed by facts and other personal accounts of submarine service in WWII. There is no doubt that Admiral Fluckey was an incredible man, leader, and hero. The details and passion of his writing are apparent. The way Corey Snow performed the book had me captivated and engaged to listen more. This is an incredible history of the Barb and her crew. Well done!

Worth Purchasing!

This book was an assignment for our son in his 4th grade ELA class during the distance learning part of the COVID-19 pandemic. The school provided links to listen to someone read it on YouTube and the person didn't pronounce words correctly and was very inanimate. Being a member for Audible for several years, I purchased this book and my son and I listened to it and completed his assignment in 2 days. The narrator is exceptional! The author is exquisite! The story was wonderful. Of course, I cried.

I have enjoyed this book immensely. Jonathan has written a masterful story, and I think everyone could find something to enjoy and learn within its pages. I am looking forward to the next adventure.

Fun book...

This book came up a little short verses the first book. I enjoyed the story overall. There was a lot of repeated content that made the story long but didn't build or add to the plot. I still love the characters and the way R. C. Bray performs and delivers. I was thankful that Part 3 was ready as soon as I finished this one.

Delivers a great story!

I loved the first book. The second was a little flat for me, but this book picked up the pace and delivered a great story line. I can honestly say, I have enjoyed all the books. I will buy the next book as soon as it's available. The plot, and characters are well done.

A lot of fun and thoughtful plot development.

I usually read books myself, but my wife got this audio book for me. I have to say it was brilliant and fun. The plot was good and and well thought out. I was caught get off guard by the level of humor in the characters. With "Skippy" being my favorite side kick of all times! R. C. Bray does a fantastic job with personalities and timing.

I loved this book so much I bought the other two. Phenomenal job!
