10/10 Amazing adventure throughout the series and always peak humor. You never know what good ideas the characters will come up with next.

Historia
Sixteen-year-old Augum Stone is a warlock prodigy suffocating under the weight of expectations. Students idolize him. Nobles plot to exploit him. Commoners think he's a miracle-maker. And with invasion looming, his already war-weakened kingdom expects him to be its champion. But Augum doesn't want to be a pawn in someone else's game. He'll forge his own path: that of the Arcaner - not a warlock or a knight, but a lethal combination of both.

While story is still great, change in narrator is a shame

If you loved the first series you'll love this one! Keep listening! The narrator is wonderful as well even though they have picked a new one for this series they chose appropriately and he does an excellent job!

Young Adult Fantasy Perfection
Revisado: 04-28-21
The plot and deeply emotionally connected characters really suck you in in this coming of age tale of a peasant boy (Augum) turned warlock apprentice. Journey with the fantastic 14-16 year old children and the adults around them as they learn the Arcane arts while their kingdom is turned upside down by a maniacal necromancer. The narrator brings the characters to life and really gives personality to each of the characters during dialog. This book does have some child abuse, graphic violence, and adult lewd dialog, but does not include cheesy intense romance, romantic themes, or sex scenes.
