Historia
From 1999 to 2009, U.S. Navy SEAL Chris Kyle recorded the most career sniper kills in United States military history. The Pentagon has officially confirmed more than 150 of Kyles kills (the previous American record was 109), but it has declined to verify the astonishing total number for this book. Iraqi insurgents feared Kyle so much they named him al-Shaitan ("the devil") and placed a bounty on his head.

Pass on this one
Revisado: 03-05-12
There are several other Navy Seal memoirs out there. This one contained the arrogance of Marcinko, and tread over the same ground most other similar biographies have. The "I'm a christian and a good old boy" crap just came off as fake. Disappointing.

Bad
Revisado: 03-05-12
I wish I'd not wasted my time or a credit on this book. The narration was good, but the story was terrible. There was nothing thrilling about this thriller. Do not listen to what the publisher's summary or the critics have to say on this book. It was flat out boring.

Historia
On November 22, 1963, three shots rang out in Dallas, President Kennedy died, and the world changed. What if you could change it back? In this brilliantly conceived tour de force, Stephen King - who has absorbed the social, political, and popular culture of his generation more imaginatively and thoroughly than any other writer - takes listeners on an incredible journey into the past and the possibility of altering it.

Never finished
Revisado: 03-05-12
I couldn't finish this book, and I wanted to. The narration is terrible. Wasson gets too aggressive way too often, almost yelling at points. The story was intriguing, even though King is ridiculously long winded. But I just couldn't get past the narration.

Poor narration
Revisado: 03-05-12
Is there anything you would change about this book?
This guy would sound better narrating lectures or something more academic. I was not pleased with his narration. His delivery of female characters was off-putting. The story is OK. It ends abruptly, for the next book to take up I suppose. I won't be reading it.
Would you recommend After America to your friends? Why or why not?
No
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Kevin Foley?
Anyone
