Historia
After a traumatic injury took him off the job, prosecutor Solomon Shepard is back to work, teaming up with Sheriff Billie Gray to hunt down Utah’s most dangerous criminals. Shepard has spent years away from crime scenes and courtrooms, but one of those criminals still holds a grudge. Alonso Hafeez is out of prison after eleven years, and he’s determined to prove that Shepard tried him for a crime he didn’t commit. And he’s got something special planned: kidnapping Shepard and forcing him to revisit Hafeez’s case in an elaborately staged retrial.

Great story line narration was top notch and it kept me on the edge of my seat; biting my nails one minute and wanting to yell “NO!” at the main character the next!

Thirty years ago, Wilde was found as a boy living feral in the woods, with no memory of his past. Now an adult, he still doesn't know where he comes from, and another child has gone missing. No one seems to take Naomi Pine's disappearance seriously, not even her father - with one exception. Hester Crimstein, a television criminal attorney, knows through her grandson that Naomi was relentlessly bullied at school. Hester asks Wilde - with whom she shares a tragic connection - to use his unique skills to help find Naomi.

Great writing and amazing narration
Revisado: 11-06-22
This is one of the best books I’ve listened to in a while. Not only is the writing terrific and the characters fleshed out the narration is superb. The changes in character voices is better than most ant I’ve heard, and I probably listen to 3/4 books a week, so Im a pretty reliable critic! Well worth the time and I’m hoping Book 2 is as good!

Historia
Merritt Coletto and her husband, Luca, have the life they dreamed of: a coastal home, a promising future, and a growing family. That dream ends with a late-night knock on the door. Weak, broken, and emaciated, it’s Luca’s first wife, Lydia. Missing for ten years, presumed dead, and very much alive, she has quite a story. Racked with guilt over the beautiful life they’ve built, Merritt and Luca agree to help get Lydia back on her feet - it’s the least they can do. But the more enmeshed Lydia becomes in Merritt’s family, the more questions Merritt has.

Historia
For high-powered personal injury attorney Noah Byron, the good things in life come with a price tag - cars, houses, women. That's why he represents only cases that come with the possibility of a nice cut of the action. But as a favor to his ex-wife, he meets with the mother of twelve-year-old Joel, a boy poisoned by tainted children's medicine. While the official story is that a psycho tampered with bottles, the boy's mother believes something much more sinister is at work...and the trail leads right back to the pharmaceutical company.

Well he’s done it again. I don’t review very many books but this is my 5th Victor Methos book and each one has been a can’t put down exciting drama. I have laughed out loud and cried a time or two, another thing I don’t do often. If you want fantastic legal dramas,

Way more political than I expected
Revisado: 04-09-22
If you happen to be a conservative Republican beware he is pretty unfairly harsh and very one sided. The story itself was good I don’t understand the need to lump all Conservative Christian Republicans in with the far right, skin heads. The author seemed to make no difference between the two groups. In his writings all Republicans are rich entitled jerks who don’t care about people or the environment, only about money and power. It’s a shame because I thought liberals were the inclusive open minded non judgmental types, guess some are NOT!
