I really enjoyed that this was dramatized. it was fun the characters were quirky and I like to see Jake Sullivan before everything else. I'm starting to fall in love with this series. and I'll be listening to the other ones soon.

the start of something good

the summary drew me in and the World building plus storytelling kept me engaged. it only took me a couple days to finish this and I enjoyed every minute of it. I didn't realize that this was gay Supernatural paranormal but it was a good surprise. I'll be starting the next book right after this. I'm glad that the series is seven books long so I don't have to give up this world or the characters anytime soon.

nice but didn't need a Max.

I enjoyed the story a lot. it was fun, didn't stall out and had a even pace. but I kind of could have done without the character Max. it was like he was trying to hard. or more like the author was trying to force the character to be funny, witty and talk tall. I know this was a child's book but as a kid I don't think I would have had a friend like Max I probably would have stayed away from him. but I like the story overall and I'll listen to the next two stories.

A good way to past the time.

the summary got my attention and I was hooked from the very first paragraph. it was well paced, read very well and it kept me engaged. I finished this story in less than 3 days. I didn't want to stop and it also made my work hours go by really fast. This story is going into my list of books to read again. I can't wait for the next book.
