Historia
Raised in a Greek legion, Phaidros has been taught to follow his commander’s orders at all costs. But when Phaidros rescues a baby from a fire at Thebes’s palace, his commander’s orders cease to make sense: Phaidros is forced to abandon the blue-eyed boy at a temple, and to keep the baby’s existence a total secret. Years later, struggling with panic attacks and flashbacks, Phaidros is enlisted by the Queen to find her son, Thebes’ young crown prince, who has vanished to escape an arranged marriage.

Delightfully easy, fun, and deep listen!
Revisado: 04-26-25
Every time Ms. Pulley comes out with a new book, it makes it harder to decide which of her books is my favorite. This one was very fun, a little sad, and the emotional depth of the characters always makes me feel like I’ve lost a friend when it’s over. I’m still mad a sequel to Valery K hasn’t been published but this book makes up for that. If you’re on the fence, I think this book is worth the full price and you should definitely give it a try.

Historia
One thousand years later. Humanity has left Earth behind and is rapidly expanding throughout the galaxy under the banner of The Union, a white supremacist government who racially ‘purified’ the human race hundreds of years in the past. Living on the fringe of this twisted Fourth Reich society, Dark Horse - the only Black man in the Union - commandeers a vessel and scours the galaxy for his missing teammates under the guise of an Exo-Hunter, seeking out exo-planets to satiate the Union’s need for colonization.

Fun, silly, and a good time!

After reading a number of the negative reviews regarding the race aspect of this book, I was unsure about listening but wanted to read all the books in the Infinite Timeline series. Maybe I'm not an easily aggravated person, or maybe I just read books for what they are and don't insert my own political leanings into the story, but this book was excellent! As a child of the 80's, all the pop culture references were entertaining and the banter between the characters made me literally laugh out loud at times. If you're looking for an easy and interesting listen, narrated by the very best narrator of all time (RC Bray could make reading recipes entertaining), give this one a try!

Historia
When the world last checked in with its favorite Cheetos addict, the planet had been overrun by flesh-hungry beasts, and nature had started reclaiming her territory from humankind. S.T., the intrepid crow, alongside his bloodhound-bestie Dennis, had set about saving pets that had become trapped in their homes after humanity went the way of the dodo. That is, dear reader, until S.T. stumbled upon something so rare - and so precious - that he vowed to do everything in his power to safeguard what could, quite literally, be humanity's last hope for survival.

Excellent

This is a wonderful 2nd book in the series and I’m hopeful that we’ll get to hear more from ST the crow and the gang. Narrator is wonderful as always and the book itself is literally LOL funny. Books that make you giggle out loud are the best, and this is one of those. Much bad language, which I enjoy and feel enhances the story, but beware if you find it offensive.

Historia
It's 1883. Thaniel Steepleton returns home to his tiny London apartment to find a gold pocket watch on his pillow. Six months later the mysterious timepiece saves his life, drawing him away from a blast that destroys Scotland Yard. At last he goes in search of its maker, Keita Mori, a kind, lonely immigrant from Japan. Although Mori seems harmless, a chain of unexplainable events soon suggests he must be hiding something.

Wonderful continuation of Thaniel and Mori’s story
Revisado: 06-07-20
I loved Watchmaker of Filigree Street and this book was equally as wonderful. I found myself listening the the last hour in little bits to make it last longer. Most of the book takes place in Japan, a place that I know very little about and it was presented beautifully! You don’t need to have read the first book but it makes the events in this book even better.
